POPPY SEED BREAD 
3 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tbsp. poppy seeds
1 1/2 c. milk
3/4 c. vegetable oil
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 1/2 tsp. butter flavoring
Orange glaze

Combine first 11 ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Spoon batter into 2 greased and floured loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove from pans and cool completely on wire racks. Drizzle with orange glaze. Yield: 2 loaves.

ORANGE GLAZE:

1 c. sifted powdered sugar
2 tbsp. orange juice
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. almond extract
1/4 tsp. butter flavoring

Combine all ingredients, mix well.
