EASY CREOLE BREAKFASTS

It's a simple use for day-old corn bread: Just crumble the corn bread in a breakfast bowl. Add hot coffee with cream and sugar to moisten thoroughly and to taste. Now you have a great, hot Creole breakfast cereal! Simple, authentic.

day-old french bread
egg and milk, beaten to a froth

Lost bread (pain perdu) is another famous creole recipe. It's just using day-old French bread for batter-dipped French toast.
