PEPPERONI BREAD
1 loaf Rich's frozen bread
1/3 lb. lg. pepperoni, sliced thin
8 oz. shredded mild cheddar cheese
2 lg. eggs
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. oregano

Beat together eggs, oregano and garlic powder.

Rub bread with oil and let aside to thaw, approximately 2 hours.

Roll bread out to the size of a 9"x12" baking pan. Brush on egg mixture, lay pepperoni end to end, then spread on cheese.

Use all ingredients. Roll into loaf. Cut in half and pinch ends to close bread. Put seam on bottom, prick with fork, and brush with rest of egg mixture. Bake in 350 degree oven for 25 to 30 minutes.

Baker's Note: You may wish to cut the loaf of bread in half before rolling it out and make two smaller loaves instead of one larger. Serves 6.

Pepperoni can be substituted with frozen chopped spinach, which has been thawed and well drained. Spread the spinach over egg mixture, sprinkle with a little more garlic powder and scatter sliced water chestnuts over if desired. The water chestnuts add a nice crunch to the filling. Use the cheese as directed in above recipe.
