CHICKEN POT PIE 
3 lbs. chicken parts
1 lg. onion, chopped
4 med. potatoes, peel & slice
2 c. Bisquick
2/3 c. milk
Parsley

Place chicken parts in large casserole. Sprinkle with chopped onions. Cover, bake at 350 degrees for 2 hours. Remove meat from dish, cover with foil, keep warm. Place dish with broth on large burner, add water. Combine Bisquick and milk. Knead until elastic ball forms. Roll dough to about 1/8". Cut dough into 1 1/2" squares. Allow to set for 10 minutes. Dough will puff. Turn burner under casserole to medium-high, put in a layer of potatoes, a layer of dough, sprinkle parsley. Again layer potatoes, dough and parsley. Cover. DO NOT LIFT LID. Watch for broth to begin to boil. When boiling begins, cook for 30 minutes longer. Skin and bone meat. Serve with carrots and an apple dish.
