1/2 pt. heavy cream 3 eggs 1 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated 1/2 c. spinach and mushrooms, sauteed 1 pie crust (ready made okay) Dash of nutmeg Other vegetables can be substituted--broccoli, zucchini, etc. Mix cream and eggs together. Grate cheese. Saute vegetables. Pour vegetables into pie crust; arrange evenly. Add cheese. Pour cream and egg mixture into pie crust shell, on top of vegetables and cheese. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. |
