GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
8 potatoes, boiled in skins
1 stalk celery, chopped
1 tbsp. parsley
1 onion, diced
1/2 green pepper, diced
6 slices bacon
1/4 c. (or less) sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1/4 c. water
1/2 tbsp. salt
1/4 tbsp. dry mustard
1/8 c. cornstarch

Peel potatoes and allow to cool somewhat. Then slice. Add celery, parsley and green peppers on top of sliced potatoes. Fry bacon, remove from grease. Pour hot mixture of grease, sugar, vinegar, water, salt, mustard, onions and cornstarch over potatoes. Crumble bacon and mix together. Serve warm.
