PUMPKIN PIE 
1 unbaked pie shell
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1 1/2 c. canned pumpkin or fresh
1 2/3 c. evaporated milk
2 eggs, well beaten

Combine sugar, salt, spices; add pumpkin, milk, eggs and beat until smooth. Pour into shell. Bake at 425 degrees about 1 hour or until silver knife inserted in the filling comes out clean.
