CANDIED ORANGE RIND | |
Strip rind from any number of oranges. Cover with water, weight down and place in refrigerator overnight. Scrape out all white, discard. Save water. Cover with more water, simmer 2 hours, drain. Add 2 cups sugar and FIRST water after boiling it down, cook 1 hour, drain off syrup. Spread and dry in 250 degree oven for 1 hour. |
