COCONUT ICE BOX CAKE 
1 pt. milk
2 tbsp. flour
4 eggs, separated
1 c. sugar
Pinch of salt
1 pkg. unflavored gelatin
1/2 c. cold water
1 pt. whipped cream
Sm. angel food cake

Make a custard of milk, flour, egg yolks, sugar and salt. Dissolve gelatin in cold water and pour into custard while hot. Let cool and fold in whipped cream and egg whites, beaten stiff. Break up angel food cake into small pieces. Line pan with crumbs and put in a layer of custard. Repeat until all custard and crumbs are used. Put in refrigerator overnight.

ICING:

1/2 pt. whipped cream
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. fresh coconut

Mix together cream, sugar and vanilla. Ice about 2 hours before serving. Top with 1 cup fresh coconut.
