CHILI CON CARNE 
2 (1 lb.) cans red kidney beans (4 c.)
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 (1 lb.) ground beef
1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes, 2 cups
8 oz. can seasoned tomato sauce
1 to 1 1/2 tbsp. chili powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 bay leaf

Brown meat and onion in a little hot fat. Add beans, tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili powder, salt, bay leaf, dash paprika and dash cayenne. Cover and simmer 2 1/2 hours, add bean liquid or water if needed.
