SPINACH QUICHE | |
2 tbsp. onion, chopped 1/2 c. frozen chopped spinach, cooked and well drained 1 1/2 tsp. all purpose flour 1 c. evaporated milk 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/4 tsp. marjoram 1 tbsp. butter 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese 3 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese 1 pie crust shell 2 eggs, beaten 1/4 tsp. basil 1/8 tsp. round white pepper Preheat oven and baking sheet to 375 degrees. In a small skillet, saute onions in butter until translucent; remove from heat and cool slightly. Add spinach, cheese and flour. Spoon into pie crust. Combine remaining ingredients; blend well. Pour egg mixture over spinach mixture. Bake on preheated baking sheet 35 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Serves 6. |
