POPCORN-APPLE PIE 
3-4 apples
2 tbsp. cinnamon imperials
2 tbsp. minute tapioca
1 c. whipping cream
3 egg whites
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. chopped pecans
5 c. popped popcorn

Peel and core apples. Chop in small pieces. Make applesauce (about 1 cup water) adding cinnamon candies and tapioca. Cook until thick; cool.

Beat egg whites. When stiff, add sugar. Blend in popcorn and nuts. Spread in buttered pie pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Whip cream and fold into applesauce. Pour onto cooled crust. Chill.
