“OATMEAL REFRIGERATOR COOKIES” IS IN:

OATMEAL REFRIGERATOR COOKIES 
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. shortening (butter)
2 eggs
3 c. quick-cooking oatmeal
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/4 c. flaked coconut
1 tsp. vanilla

Form into 2 rolls about 2 inches thick and wrap in plastic wrap or wax paper and refrigerate overnight.

Next day, slice 1/4-inch thick and place on greased cookie sheets. Bake at 375°F for 7-12 minutes (depends on size of cookies made). Do not overbake.
