FLUFFY CITRUS DRESSING | |
1 egg 1 tbsp. grated orange peel 2 tbsp. lemon juice 1/2 c. sugar 2 tsp. grated lemon peel 1 c. heavy cream, whipped In saucepan, beat egg; add sugar, fruit peels and lemon juice. Cook and stir over low heat until thick, about 5 minutes. Cool thoroughly. Fold in whipped cream. Chill. Makes about 2 1/3 cups. This is good on almost any fruit salad and goes especially well on a combination of oranges, pineapple and bananas. |
