ITALIAN SPAGHETTI MEAT BALLS 
1 lb. good hamburger
1 clove garlic
1/2 of a med. onion
1/2 of a green pepper, grated finely (don't use the outside skin)
1/2 tsp. dry parsley
1 tsp. basil
Salt and pepper to taste
1 egg
8 soda crackers, rolled fine
1/2 c. grated Romano cheese

Mix and knead for 15 MINUTES! Roll into balls and brown lightly. Put in hot sauce and SIMMER 1 hour. Makes 20 meat balls. Serves 4.

SAUCE:

1 lg. can tomato juice (46 oz.)
1 can tomato paste
1 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. sugar

If this is not enough sauce, you can supplement with Ragu.
