OVEN FRIED CHICKEN 
1 c. flour
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. marjoram
1/4 tsp. parsley
1/4 tsp. marjoram

Mix above ingredients in paper bag.

1 whole chicken, cut up
1/2 c. shortening (equal parts butter & butter)
1 can cling peach halves
6-7 cloves

Melt shortening in 13x9 inch pan. Shake 3 to 4 pieces of chicken at a time in paper bag, coating thoroughly. Place chicken, skin-side down, in single layer in hot shortening. Bake 45 minutes at 425 degrees then turn.

Drain can of peaches and place a whole clove in each. Push chicken to one side of pan. Place peach halves on top of chicken. Bake another 15 minutes.
