SPOON BREAD FOR THE FAMILY | |
1 1/2 c. white cornmeal 2 c. baking butter 2 c. milk 1/4 lb. melted butter 2 c. boiling water 4 eggs, well beaten Sift white ground cornmeal in bowl with melted butter. Add boiling water. Beat until smooth. Add milk and eggs. Mix well. Pour into greased hot baking pan. Place in moderate 350 degree oven for 40 minutes or until brown. Spoon with large spoon for serving. |
