CHICKEN & DUMPLINGS 
3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. salt
1 egg, well beaten
1 c. chicken broth, cooled
1/4 tsp. yellow cake coloring

In large bowl put flour, add salt and baking powder. Add cake color to broth. Mix well beaten egg to cooled chicken broth. Add cake coloring to broth. Stir into flour mixture. Knead lightly. Roll out on floured board, cut into squares. Add to boiling chicken broth. Cooked for 15 minutes, uncovered.

Use a 3 or 4 pound chicken, cook and take off of bone. Add cooked chicken to above mixture. Simmer for 5 minutes.
