RED HOT APPLESAUCE SALAD 
1/2 c. boiling water
1/4 c. red hot candies
1 (3 oz.) pkg. lemon Jello
1 (16 oz.) can applesauce

Add red hots to boiling water and dissolve. Add Jello; mix well. Stir in applesauce along with a few drops of red food coloring, if desired. Pour into oiled mold and chill. Garnish. Excellent with chicken, turkey or pork.
