OLD FASHION TEA CAKES 
1 3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. Crisco
3 c. self rising flour

Cream sugar and Crisco and add eggs one at a time. Mix well. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Knead on floured board and roll dough to thickness desired. Cut with cookie cutter. Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 325 degrees.
