2 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. butter
2 c. quick cooking oats
1/2 c. milk
1/8 tsp. salt
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix sugar, cocoa, butter, milk and salt in pan. Place over heat and bring mixture to a hard boil. Boil 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Add peanut butter, oats and vanilla. Blend well. Drop by tablespoons on waxed paper. Let stand until firm. Cool.
