JEFF'S FISH SPECIAL | |
1 qt. corn oil 6 eggs, more if needed 2 boxes Shore Lunch Fish Mix 1 bag red and white jigs 1 lg. container fresh Mississinewa white bass 1 Ultra Light fishing pole 1 box jigheads Month of May Mississinewa River Take the month of May and combine with the Ultra Light fishing pole and proceed to Trail's End at the Mississinewa Reservoir. Take the Ultra Light pole and attach 1 jighead to the line and apply a red and white jig. Cast into the rapids and catch limit of 12. Take the fish home and carefully clean and fillet. Heat the quart of oil on the stove. Crack eggs into bowl and stir. Open box of Shore Lunch and place a bowl by itself. Dip fish (one at a time) into eggs, then take fish and dip into Shore Lunch. Be sure to cover all of the fish with the batter. Put fish in heated oil and cook for 2-3 minutes. The fish will float to the top when they are done. Serve with favorite "side fish dish". Remember, if there's anything better than catching Mississinewa White Bass, it's eating them! |
