2 c. water
1/2 c. salt
Food coloring (few drops)
2 tbsp. salad oil
2 tbsp. powdered alum
2 c. flour

Bring water and salt to a boil; stir until salt is dissolved. Remove from heat. While hot, add food coloring. Mix well. Add other ingredients. Mix well. Knead until soft. Keep in a covered container. Will keep for a couple of months.
