(GRANDMA'S) BLUEBERRY MUFFINS 
Cream together:

1/4 c. shortening
2/3 c. sugar
1 egg

Add:

1 3/4 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat until smooth. Add 1 - 1 1/2 cups blueberries, fresh or frozen. Stir gently. Fill muffin cups 1/2 full. Bake at 375 degrees 20-25 minutes. Approximately 1 dozen.
