STEWED OKRA, CORN AND TOMATOES 
2 c. okra, sliced
1 sm. onion, chopped
2 tbsp. bacon drippings
2 c. cooked or canned tomatoes
1 sm. can whole kernel corn
1/2 tsp. salt
Pepper

Lightly brown okra and onion in fat; add tomatoes, corn, salt and pepper. Cook over moderate heat for 20 minutes or until thickened. Stir occasionally. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
