CHICKEN CASSEROLE WITH CRUMB
DUMPLINGS
 
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. chicken broth
Jar of pearl onions
3 c. cooked chicken or turkey
1/3 c. flour
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 can cream of chicken soup
Dumplings

Blend oil, flour and seasonings. Gradually add broth and cook, stirring until thick. Remove from heat, stir in next three ingredients. Put in greased 13x9x2 pan. Top with dumplings. Bake at 425 degrees 20-25 minutes.

CRUMB DUMPLINGS:

2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. vegetable oil
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. poultry seasoning
1 tsp. onion flakes
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tbsp. poppy seed
1 c. milk

Mix thoroughly. Roll in 3 tbsp. melted butter mixed with 3/4 cup bread crumbs.
