BARBECUE STEAK 
1 c. ketchup
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 1/2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
4 lbs. round steak, 1/2 inch thick

Combine all ingredients except meat in saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer gently for 5 minutes over low heat. Keep hot. Cut steak into serving portions. Place in large roasting pan and put sauce over meat. Cover tightly and bake at 325 degrees F. for 2 hours or until fork tender.

BARBECUED HAM:

Use chipped ham and above sauce, except use relish (sweet) instead of onion, pepper and Worcestershire. Heat ham and sauce until warm. Serve on hamburger buns.
