CHERRY CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. sour milk
1 tsp. baking soda
1/8 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. flour
10 oz. jar maraschino cherries, drained & chopped (save juice)
1 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted

For sour milk, use the maraschino juice, add a Tbsp. vinegar, add enough milk to make 1 cup. Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and beat. Add sour milk alternately with flour, soda and salt. Stir in melted chocolate and maraschino cherries.

Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes.
