BAKED FRENCH DOUGHNUTS 
5 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
2 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. milk

Mix butter, sugar until creamy then add egg. Mix dry ingredients and add to other mixture, alternately with milk. Fill greased muffin tins half full. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees. Brush while hot with melted butter and dip in mixture of 1/4 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Makes 1 dozen.
