BROKEN GLASS TORTE | |
1 sm. pkg. cherry Jello 1 sm. pkg. lime Jello 1 sm. pkg. orange Jello 1 sm. can sliced peaches & juice 16 marshmallows cut in sm. pieces 2 env. Knox unflavored gelatin 1 pt. whipping cream 1/2 c. sugar 2 jelly rolls, cut in slices Set flavored packages of Jello separately according to directions on package, then cut in 1" squares. Mix Jello, peaches and juice and marshmallows, fold in whipped cream (beat cream until stiff) and sugar. Dissolve unflavored gelatin in 1/2 cup cold water, add 1/4 cup boiling water and add to first mixture. Line spring form pan with sliced jelly roll (sides and bottom), add mixture and refrigerate for 12 hours before eating. HINT: I make Jello in either old ice cube trays with removable inserts or loaf pans for easier cutting into squares. Also I usually make this in 9"x13" pan and use graham cracker crust in place of jelly rolls. |
