PEANUT PATTIES 
2 1/2 c. sugar
2/3 c. white syrup
1 c. cream
3 c. raw peanuts
1/2 stick butter

Cook 1 hour, start timing after it starts to boil. After it starts to boil, turn down to simmer. Stir 3 or 4 times. Add red food coloring and 1 teaspoon vanilla and stir until fairly cool. Pour in buttered dishes.
