1 qt. vinegar 6 lbs. sugar 12 lbs. fruit 1 tbsp. ground cloves 2-4 sticks cinnamon Make syrup of sugar, vinegar and spices. Drop in peeled and quartered fruit and cook until it can be pierced with fork. Pack fruit in jars and cover with boiling hot syrup. Seal. |
