CHOCOLATE CHIP BARS - MICROWAVE 
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tsp. baking powder
Confectioners sugar or instant cocoa drink mix

Place butter in 2-quart glass measure or micro-proof bowl. Cook on High for 1 minute, or until melted. Stir in brown sugar, eggs and vanilla. Stir in remaining ingredients, except confectioners sugar. Spread in 9-inch square micro-proof baking dish. Cook on High for 7 to 8 minutes, rotating dish if mixture is cooking unevenly. Let stand in pan to cool. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar or instant cocoa drink mix. Cut into squares.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
