LENTIL LOAF 
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. nuts, finely chopped
1 1/2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. whole wheat bread crumbs
1/2 c. water
1 c. lentils cooked with bay leaf (equal to 1/3 c. uncooked)
1/2 c. tomato sauce
1 tsp. salt

Mash cooked lentils. Braise onions in 1 tablespoon oil. Add lentils, bread crumbs, nuts, tomato sauce, flour, water and salt. Pour into oiled baking dish. Bake 45 minutes at 375 degrees. Serve hot with gravy.
