CINNAMON RAISIN BISCUITS 
2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/4 c. shortening
1 tbsp. sugar
2/3 c. cold milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. raisins

Mix together dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Cut in shortening. Make a well, add milk and raisins. Stir until dough follows fork around bowl. Scoop up dough and knead gently, no more than a couple of minutes. Roll to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut dough with biscuit cutter, (no twisting). Bake on ungreased baking sheet at 450 degrees 12 to 15 minutes.

Icing For Biscuits:

1 c. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Enough milk to spreading consistency.
