PEPPERMINT DESSERT | |
1/2 lb. stick peppermint candy 1/2 c. light cream (half & half) 1 1/2 c. heavy cream, whipped (2 1/2 pt.) 1/2 lb. Hydrox cookies 1 pkg. gelatin 2 tbsp. cold water Melt candy in light cream. Dissolve gelatin in cold water. Add gelatin to light cream, cool. Fold in whipped cream. Crush Hydrox cookies and make alternate layers with cream mixture. Nuts may be added if desired. Use a 9x9 inch pan. A good dessert for the holidays! |
