SAVORY MEATBALLS 
1 lb. chopped meat
1/4 c. cornmeal
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
Flour
2 tbsp. Crisco for frying
1 1/2 c. well seasoned tomato juice
1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning
1/2 minced onion
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Beat egg slightly. Add meat, onion, seasonings, cornmeal and milk. Shape lightly into 16 small balls. Roll balls in a little flour; brown in hot fat. Put balls in casserole, sprinkle with 2 tablespoons flour and tomato juice. Bake in moderate oven, 325 degrees, for 45 minutes. Serves 4 or 5.
