1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. peanut butter
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix first 7 ingredients together. Then add remaining ingredients. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 12 minutes. Makes 36 to 48 cookies.
