CARAMEL ROLLS 
Basic bread dough
Flour
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. butter
1 tbsp. light corn syrup

Roll 1/2 recipe of bread dough on lightly floured surface to 12"x8" rectangle. Brush with butter; sprinkle with mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll lengthwise as for jelly roll; seal edge; cut roll in 1" slices.

In saucepan, mix brown sugar, butter and corn syrup; heat slowly, stirring often. Pour into 8"x8"x2" pan. Place rolls, cut side down over mixture. Cover; let rise in warm place until double, 35 to 45 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees about 20 minutes. Cool 2 to 3 minutes, invert on rack; remove pan. Makes about 1 dozen rolls.
