LOUISIANA-STYLE BAKED SHRIMP 
3/4 lb. shrimp (about 20), shelled
3 tbsp. unsalted butter
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
1/8 tsp. cayenne
1 tsp. minced garlic
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. dry red wine
1/4 tsp. salt
Crusty Italian bread as an accompaniment

Arrange the shrimp in a baking dish just large enough to hold them in one layer. In a small saucepan combine the butter, the chili powder, the black pepper, the cayenne, the garlic, the Worcestershire sauce, the wine, and the salt; bring the mixture to a boil, and pour it over the shrimp. Bake the shrimp in a preheated 400 degree oven for 8 to 10 minutes, or until they are just firm, and serve them with the bread. Serves 2.
