1 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1 egg
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. lemon flavor
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda

Mix all ingredients. Make into a little ball and flatten with a sugared glass. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
