CHERRIES JUBILEE 
1 (17 oz.) can dark sweet cherries
2 tbsp. sugar
Dash of salt
1 tbsp. cornstarch
Vanilla ice cream
4 tbsp. rum or brandy

Drain cherries, and pit. Add water to juice to make 1 cup. Mix sugar, salt, and cornstarch. Add juice; cook until thickened. Serve ice cream in dishes; cover with cold sauce; add 1 tablespoons liquor to each serving. Ignite with match flame. Makes 4 servings.
