PECAN ICE BOX PIE 
1 c. sugar
1 c. pecans
3 egg whites
20 Ritz crackers (or graham crackers)

Beat egg whites and add sugar gradually. Beat until stiff and it peaks. Fold in crackers (rolled fine) and pecans. Stir and pour into greased pie pan. Cook at 350 degrees until light brown. Cool overnight, top with Cool Whip.
