3/4 c. flour
1-1/2 c. meal
1 egg
Dash black pepper
Dash salt
Dash sugar
1 grated onion
Jalapeno peppers, chopped (to taste)
Garlic, to taste
3/4 to 1 can beer

Mix above ingredients except beer. Add beer to dry mixture until desired consistency. Mixture should be thick enough to remain on spoon to drop into hot oil. Fry until golden brown. Drain and serve.
