APPLE-PECAN STUFFING 
1 c. chicken broth
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/4 c. chopped onion
4 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. dry whole wheat bread crumbs
2 med. apples, pared & chopped
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. sage
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
pepper

Combine the first 5 ingredients in saucepan and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes until tender. Combine remaining ingredients in bowl and pour broth mixture over all; mix well. Stuff mixture loosely into bird or place in casserole. In casserole, bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
