BLACKBERRY JAM CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
3 eggs
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda

Measure into mixing bowl. Add: 1 c. blackberry jam, seedless

Makes three (9 inch) layers. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

ICING:

1 box confectioners sugar
1/4 stick butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
Enough milk to make it spread (about 1/4 to 1/2 c.)

Ice cake while it is still warm as you take it out of the pan.
