1 c. butter or shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 c. jam (not strawberry)
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
Pinch of salt
1 c. milk, sour with vinegar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cloves

Add all together. Bake at 350 degrees approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.
