MACARONI GOULASH | |
1 lb. lean ground beef or Ground turkey 1 med. onion, chopped 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce 2 c. water 2 c. (8 oz.) uncooked macaroni 2 tbsp. sugar 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 to 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese In large fry pan. brown meat and drain excess fat. Add onion and continue frying until onion is tender. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until macaroni is tender. Turn into baking dish and top with shredded cheese. Bake until cheese is melted. Serves 4 to 6. |
