PORK CHOPS BAKED IN SOUR CREAM 
4 (1/2 inch) thick pork chops
2 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 c. sour cream
4 tbsp. oil
Flour
1 bay leaf
1 tbsp. sugar
4 whole cloves
1/2 c. water
Salt and pepper to taste

Wipe chops with a damp cloth, season with salt, pepper and dredge with flour. Brown in small amount of oil. Insert a clove in each chop and transfer to a greased casserole dish. Combine water, bay leaf, vinegar, sugar and sour cream. Pour mixture over chops, cover and bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for about 1 1/2 hours or until chops are done.
