CHICKEN ALA KING 
2 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. flour
1 c. strong chicken broth
1/3 c. half & half
2 sm. cans mushroom pieces
2 c. chopped chicken or turkey

Melt butter. Add flour, stir. Add chicken broth and bring to a boil over low heat. Cook a few minutes, then add half & half, cook a while longer. Add mushrooms and chicken. Serve over rice or pastry puffs.
